Don’t be put off this recipe by all the ingredients and planning for this shake.  This shake is an all time family favorite.  It will surprise you just how much this green shake tastes just like apple pie.  Think of it as healthy apple pie in a shake!!

Serves 2

2 scoops of vanilla Kidzshake

1 cup of unsweetened milk of choice

1 cup of apple sauce

1 handful of spinach

1/2 cup of unsalted cashews (soaked for 30-60 minutes)

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

2 chopped, pitted dates

1/ cup of ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
