“Need a little laughter
Need a little singing
Ringing through the rafter
And we need a little snappy
‘Happy ever after’

Need a little Christmas now
Need a little Christmas now”

Mini Trampoline: This is perfect when you may not have the space, or patience, for a big trampoline. It’s a great way for toddlers to burn off their endless energy!

Playzone-Fit Jumper Jr.: Perfect for little bouncers, this is a brilliant way for little kids to soar to new heights of active play, excitement, and learning. This unique contraption lets kids experience the thrill of bouncing and jumping without the fear of falling.

Twist, Turn, Wiggle Car: Kids will love having their own little car to wiggle around in.

Monkey Bars Climbing Tower: Some active outdoor fun for kids ages 3-6. A great way for kids to enhance their motor skills and even learn about safety!

Hula Hoops: Do you remember having hula hooping contests with your friends back in the days? Your kids will love trying to see how much longer they can hula hoop than you! Plus it’s a fun way to let loose and get some cardio in!

Skip Balls: These soft and skippable balls roll along virtually any surface, making this a fun exercise game for both your kids and you!

Jump Ropes: Don’t forget about this classic active toy! Have some jump roping contests with your kids or skip around your neighborhood. Perfect to let out some energy and get creative!

Fun Strategy Games:

Sequence for Kids: A simpler version of the popular game that’s sure to keep your whole family entertained for hours. The game comes with a folding game board, 42 playing cards, multi-colored playing chips and instructions. Instead of traditional playing cards, however, the deck contains pictures of animals — perfect for little kids!

Richard Scarry’s Busytown, Eye Found It: This simple I-spy game is designed just for young children. A cooperative board game for ages 3 and up, kids will have fun finding hidden objects like buckets, traffic lights, flags or ladders.

Scrabble Junior: This fun and educational board game comes with a two-sided game board that has two difficulty levels. Great for kids ages 5+, one side features a letter-matching activity for younger players, allowing them to practice their alphabet skills. Then the other side is a bit more advanced, featuring a classic Scrabble setup where kids can start building their own words in the traditional crossword-style game.

Blokus: This is the perfect strategy game for the whole family! Blokus features transparent, Tetris-shaped, colored pieces that players are trying to play onto the board. The only caveat to placing a piece is that it may not lie adjacent to your other pieces, but instead must be placed touching at least one corner of your pieces already on the board. Get ready for some topsy-turvy thinking strategies!

Fabulous stocking stuffers:

Chalk! Chalk is a great way to let out creativity and imagination. And don’t you remember the good old days of drawing hopscotch all over your sidewalk?

Herbs/Seeds to plant and garden! It’s never too early, or too late, to introduce your kids to gardening. Gardening encourages healthy eating and also teaches us about the benefits of eating seasonal produce. Gardening also creates the perfect opportunity to talk to kids about concepts such as pollution, pesticides and recycling.

Card Games! Here are a few great ones for various ages:
ThinkFun Roll and Play Game for Toddlers: Designed for kids ages 18 months and up, they don’t have to be able to read or count to play. Includes one plush, colorful cube and 48 game cards. Kids learn about emotions, body parts, animals sounds, counting, colors and actions.

Photographic Memory Matching Game: A memory game fun for the whole family. The set contains 50 cards featuring adorable pets like kittens, puppies and hamsters. There are two of each, and the goal is to find and match them when they’re turned over and mixed up.

Scrimish Strategy Card Game: A new spin on classic strategy games like Checkers and Chess, this is a fun challenge game that will involve your best strategy and memory skills. As you can play each game with more than two people, it is a great family hit!

Smack it! Card Game for Kids: There’s no smacking their little sibling, but kids can smack the cards in this fast-paced and fun card game. An exciting new twist on the classic kid’s card games Slap Jack and War, this family game is easy to learn and enjoyable to play. Great for kids 6+.

Travel Scavenger Hunt Card Game: Planning a vacation road trip, yet worried about the constant “Are we there yet?”? Keep everyone entertained with some old school travel fun!
